Swastik Shutters offers a wide range of steel shutters that provide a high level of security to the openings of any premises.
Steel shutters are used to help prevent unauthorized access and vandalism to premises by adding an extra barrier between "outside" and whatever entrances they may be protecting. Our shutters confirm to quality standards and specifications set by Indian Standards committee for Metal Rolling Shutters "IS-6248".
When open, the shutters provide an almost unobstructed aperture as the shutter and mechanism store above the doorway and out of the way. Furthermore, the doors are tough and have a long life with little maintenance required. Our large range of steel shutters offers a secure and weatherproof solution to safeguarding large or small openings..
The curtain is constructed from continuously interlocked steel laths that are securely held in place by end locks. As we follow IS standards, the slat thickness we use is 0.9mm & 1.2mm only. The slats can be perforated to allow ventilation or provide visibility into the premises whilst maintaining the required security. The round profile of the slat gives better stability and strength to the slat and is ideal for large shutters and following as per the standards. Flat profile gives an aesthetic appeal to the shutters and is often used by retail stores. Curtains are made of Mild Steel/Galvanised/Zincalume/ Stainless Steel depending on client requirement and environment factors.
Vertical guides are formed from pressed steel fabricated as per the size of the door height. These sections are made of Mild Steel/Galvanised Steel of thickness options from 2.5mm or 3mm. The depth of the guides will vary depending on the width of the shutter. The top end of the guide is given a bell mouth shape so as to enable smooth entry for the shutter when in operation.
Mild steel 3mm or 2.5mm thick material is re-enf orced with 35mm x 35mm x 5mm thick angle on one or both sides for providing the strength and preventing theft from lifting the door from the base. Locking arrangement is provided on both sides for dual locking assistance.
Mild Steel 3mm or 2.5mm thick material is re-enforced with 25x5mm flats. Heavier bracket plates are made as per IS6248 upto 10mm. Height of the bracket plate varies on the shutter height and is custom made for each shutter.
Our shafting barrels are made from a seamless steel tube of maximum thickness ranging from 4.5mm-6mm and suitable diameter to counteract deflection. Counter balance springs are used for manual/mechanical operated shutters. Motorised shutters are operated without springs.
As a standard, we use only 0.9mm Galvanized hood Covers for all types of doors.
Comes galvanized with non-galvanized parts prime painted as standard. Customers can choose to have a polyester powder coating or spray painted with a range of standard RAL colours.
A single phase side motor is used for small to medium sized shutters and a three phase side motor is used for large shutters. These are indirect drive motors which are used without counter balance springs and work seamlessly without any problems. Adjustable limit switches are incorporated to stop the shutter at the end of each travel.
All Motors are equipped with a standard control which includes a open-close-stop bottons on a push button switch or a key switch which gives a restricted access operation on the door. Additionally, a Key Switch or a Remote can be provided as an alternate opening solution.
A remote & sensing edge can be provided as optional add-ons to the motorized door.
Warranty for 1 year and parts availability for a minimum of 5 years.
